PM/Dev – Oak Mountain Outfitters
Oak Mountain Outfitters was a project which I was hired to manage as well as to populate with products and enhance with extensions. OMO is a Magento installation and contains well over 7,000 products. Product creation was largely done through database/spreadsheet import. It connects to a WordPress blog using the Fishpig WordPress extension and is highly integrated with third-party services which feed products to affiliates, shopping services and Amazon.com. The site utilizes several commercially available extensions, and a few which were written expressly for the site. The payment gateway is proprietary.
